i would appreciate anything you would share concerning your experience with cap1. they are who i am dealing with, also. i personally wouldnt call them back, let court speak for you. im sure all they want is to badger you into settling something for some amount you dont have. goin to court costs them money. make them spend all the money you can, separate your case from the others..ask for more time..demand paperwork. cite laws. any laws you have. cap1 will not work with you at all, so i have found. i wish you much luck. i have paid one bill off...200$ and i have paid over 800$ so far on it. they simply dont care to help out at all. you can be dying and they dont care. i was actually told that one, once by a rep. make sure you have your exemptions and your bank accounts safe. sorry, i dont know mich laws but im sure you can look it up and protect what you can. how old is your account? what time frame is this? mine are 8 months old and on their 3rd CA, debt is not sold. i was told after 3 CAs they sue..did you find this to be true? good luck!!! fight them all you can. i appreciate you sharing anything with me on this..:)
