Yes, I have had a contract with pre-paid legal services for two years. DEBTXS tries to negotiate with the companies that I listed to obtain a settlement. The one that is sueing me apparently did not want to work with DEBTXS and ... from what I understand their hands are tied once a law suit is filed. I am very angry but should have known better. I hope to use the fact that I was not trying to get out of paying but giving the lawyer that pre-paid legal services found for me all documents. I really doubt that no one cares what my intentions are but I will do it anyway. I will not go to court and plan to ask for a payment plan of some kind without the added interest and late fees. I owe the money but want a plan of some kind that I can afford and live with. Live and learn. I was not late with any of my payments when I contracted with DEBTXS, and even the lawyer was saying WHAT? I just wanted to get a better deal on interest rates and should have talked directly with the credit card companies ... I guess. I want this over and done with. Once the lawyer responds on my behalf I would like to know how long this may take? Pre-paid legal services has assigned a new number to the second law suit so I am sure they will want another 1500 bucks. I am still waiting. If I feel that they are jacking with me I may as well go out and find a lawyer not connected with this stuff. What do you think? Thanks, Sage
