i first thought like you, but reading trans union..it will possibly..depending on circumstance, add years to the time it is on your report. say, me, ok, mine were all the same time as the BK. say, Jk, hers were COed 3 years before. reporting it correctly as IIBK added 3 years to JK report that it will be reported. ok, i may be seeing this wrong..which is why i asked. but trans union can keep a negative longer than the 7 years by doin this and i think its illegal. it is "their policy". views? ideas? mine are all very new, not old. i only became a deadbeat 4 years ago! lol. 800 fico to 380 in 4 years. incredible. sooo, i think by correcting older ones, you run the risk of it staying longer than it would have before.
