i think you need a new lawyer not connected with the scumbags who screwed you over. its a hard lesson and i am so sorry you had to learn it. never believe a debt anything company...consolidation..negotiation, counseling..any. they are all out for one thing, to pocket your cash. i would look into suing this company who took all your money. man, thats tough..i am so sorryyyyyy. these companies can do nothing we cant do for ourselves and most times get you screwed and ruin your credit. at least,complain to the BBB, TX AG, and FTC. i thnk you have a good suit against them. since their close to me...call FOX4 and WFAA tv news,. they have special reporters (valerie williams is one i dealt with--very nice) who are consumer advocates. (email them from their websites) i think they will be interested. hon, you gotta fight for yourself. they will do you every way but loose if you dont, then move on and do others.
