Definitly do a bit of reading here this weekend, try to find as many postings that match or come close to YOUR situation so you have a good idea of what you are dealing with and then next week if possible go get the summons.

Better to handle it that way than to find out they came up with some other way to serve someone else or embarras you with a suprise server during some function or gathering. One way or the other you will be served or they will get crafty and bypass you and you wont know whats going on.
