Are you sure this isn't beyond the SOL? If it's only showing up with one CRA, that would be my guess. If it is, then by all means send them Why Chat's SOL letter. They'll most probably go away and almost certainly decide not to file suit. And if they do file suit on an expired debt, you'll have a letter showing that they've been put on notice that the SOL has passed and illegally filed suit anyway.
