Hi My name is Lara Helmke I don't know if i have a leg to stand on here but i had a collection notice from RJM Acquistions in the late 90's and in Aug. and Sept. of 2000 I paid this collection agency off it was for a Fingerhut account my only problem is that at that time i paid all of my bills in money orders and have no record of payment I recently did a credit report and it shows collection accounts for RJM and says i have a balance of $143. It says nothing about it being paid in full or anything Do you have any similar situations? Any advice would be helpful. Thank You , Lara Helmke
