I have a closed Sears credit card acct on my report. I owe them
$1700. Is there a way I can negotiate a settlement with them that
will get this TOTALLY off my credit
report. Also, I am pretty sure that the first time I was late
on this acct was more than 7 years ago.If so, do I have to pay
at all, and how can I find out for sure when the delinquency began.
It doesn't say on my
credit report...only shows last 24 month history. Thanks for
your help out there.
