Tennessee has a ONE party taping law....that means that as long as ONE party has knowledge to the converstaion being taped, it is legal. If you tape the conversation, YOU are the ONE party giving consent.

IF you're going to tape a telephone converstation, it is a good idea to invest in a cheap speaker phone type of telephone. In some instances, the CA's have a filter on their phones that will not allow enough volume for the recorder to tape an audible tape.....found that out the hard way.

Make sure you also, transcribe any and all phone converstions, verbatim, as a back up.
