This is the actual letter without names ... AT&T CREDIT MANAGEMENT P.O. Box 57907 Murray, UT. 84157 To whom it may concern, I’ve recently become aware that my account with AT&T has gone unpaid for several months and I’d like to remedy the situation. Enclosed with this letter is my check ( # 287) for full payment of $63.00 payable to AT&T. In return for this payment in full, please replace the “CHARGE-OFF” notation in my credit report with ”PAID” and “NO DELINQUENCIES”. I am giving you permission to pay my account with my check that I have enclosed only under these agreed terms. Once my account has been paid, you’ll have 30 days to change the notations in my credit report. I will request a copy of my credit report after 30 days of depositing my check to verify these changes. If these terms are not agreeable, please correspond to me via mail to: I made it very clear for them to contact me if they didn't agree with the terms!!!! Since they deposited my check, it seems very clear that they DID agree with the terms!!!! Don't they have to hold up to their side of the agreement????
