I am at the beginning of the arbitration process with MBNA and Wolpoff and Abramson. The arbitration notice from W&A and NAF was dated 5/10 and post marked 5/12. It said I had 30 days to respond from receipt of their letter or else. I sent my response as per Whychat's site to Wolpoff and NAF CRR a few days later. NAF says they need "proof" that my response was sent to all the claimants. If the proof does not get to NAF by 6/6 , a new date in NAF's response!, then they will continue with the hanging. My question, does a response need to go to MBNA as well? And more importantly how does the thirty days in the first letter suddenly become 25 days? Is this a violation of the original letter? Can I wait and send after the new date but before the old one and claim a violation if they do take the arbitration award to a judge?
