I don't disagree and I don't see why anyone else would. There is a big difference between paying the original creditor BEFORE charge off, and paying a scum CA. So, if he CAN DO IT. Then I think he should do it. Nobody here is against paying their bills. We are against paying CAs who pay pennies on the dollar with added interest and penalities. We are against CAs who lie, threaten, and violate FDCPA, we are against CAs who try to collect on time barred debts. I don't think this will save his credit really, the lates will still show. But, better than charge offs and possible judgements.
