if you may recall I had posted about my dad being disabled and found out he had been paying for insurance on his Providian card and didn't even know he had it or was paying? Well they finally did send him the paperwork to have his doctor fill out and sign,which he has an appt. w/DR in a couple of weeks. He's not made a payment to Providian in a month and they continue to call him 3-5x a day.Caller ID helps and he doesn't answer,but when I'm there and they call I answer and I've told them 3x now that he has the paperwork and will follow the procedure to file it and to STOP calling. The person barely speaks English and I end up telling him not to call and they will get the paperwork once the doc fills it out.Dad still has not changed his disability checking to go into a new acct at a diff. bank,even though I emphasized it is very important.Any suggestions as to stop these morons from hounding him until paperwork is sent? Can they legally(ha,like they follow the law) do anything until he's had time to mail them their forms? Thanks
