Letter to Bank? No, your Dad has to call social security disability and change his banking info with them. If that was what you were referring to. That really should be done. If they freeze or seize his account, he will be able to get the money back because it is exempt, but it is a major hastle and takes time. Ounce of prevention. I would just have him to have his check sent to him in the mail. Safest thing to do.
