If you were still in Co. and they decided to sue you THERE, and you had NOT established a legal residency in another State, or had changed your name or obtained a new ss #, or had been in prison or a mental institution, it is POSSIBLE that they could have claimed the time you were out of Co. was "tolled" which might have extended the SOL.

However, you are back in Alaska, and presumably have an Alaska drivers license and legal residence, so you can use the SOL statute from the Alaska page on my website for your SOL letter.
