u people help many so my hats off to u all . im in debt with 5 diff credit cards totaling 20 k i stopped paying on all in Nov 2003 with only very few calls to collect from the creditors with my guess being becouse they know i have no assets . i have about 1200. in my checking account & sad to say 500. in savings so nothing really to take , i rent a condo & my car is paid in full but its 12 yrs old so worth almost nothing i live almost payck to paycheck . i read in diff post that its best i should take my money out of my accounts but is this true if i dont get many collection calls and i have nothing except under 2000. in two diff bank accounts ? how would they freeze my accounts if they ever did would i get some kinda warning before they do this ? its a must i keep my checking account . i started back working in march only making 25 k per year so am i really a target from collectors if im in as bad of shape as i am ? i live in florida . thank you all
