Anyone here had any dealings with these so-called attorneys? I had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with these lowlifes a year ago when Worldwide Asset Purchasing bought a credit card account of some $17,000 that was from MBNA. Sometime in July or early August I received a phone call from a lady named Patty, and demanded that I pay $10,000 immediately. Of course I told him I didn't have that kind of money and it will be impossible to do so; so the next step was for me to contact a family member to come up with the money. Anyway, these goons in a time span of six months continuously contact me, my ex-wife, her parents, my parents, and even made threats and used extortion; including an incident in which they informed my parents I would be prosecuted for frauding an attorney's office; and another incident in which my sister-in-law would be prosecuted and sent to jail if she did not reveal the whereabouts of my wife. To make my point, Bronson & Migliaccio has used extortion, made harrassing phone calls to third parties, threatened criminal prosecution, and so on in order to collect my MBNA debt. I live in California and this lawfirm is in New York. Bottom line: I want to sue this so-called lawfirm the aforementioned actions, and want thoughts and comments from anyone who had to deal with these scumbags. Thanks in advance.
