I have been waiting for validation on a debt purchased by Sherman Acquisitions since January. Is this typical? I owed First USA a lot of money I could not pay...Sherman (Alegis) is making me feel like a complete loser. They told me that they could, and will, garnish all but $25 of my wages since I live in Michigan and there are no laws to protect me. Thanks for the great advice, everyone. Sean
