Thanks for your reply, that is kind of what I thought, but also had a little bit of a thought that there might be some hope . We live in Illinois. What exactly is judgement proof. The type of bk our atty talked abt was the one where we keep our house by reaffirming the loan, and our car, and other loans, but just get rid of the cc and rev. loans, is this what you mean by chapt 7?
