I believe you have had a "double whammy".

When you purchased your house, your credit report information was sold to ALL the people involved.

The "judgment" which you never knew about and had been sold to Sherman was then enforceable.

The SOL from the Sears account doesn't enter into the situation because although it was a default judgment, there had to have been SOME kind of service upon you when it was entered, and it was filed within SOL at the time.

The 2nd or 3rd issue- bank and other creditcard judgment may be a case of ID theft.

I am assuming that the Sears account WAS yours??

You need a lawyer, you need to file an ID theft report, you need to find out from your bank WHOSE account got mixed up with yours.

You need a lawyer
You REALLY need a lawyer
