You live in a VERY difficult State for any judgments, low homestead exemptions and wage garnishment.

BK CH7 is your best bet, provided you do not have a LOT of equity in your home. (over $15,000- figuring at 20% below ASSESSED value- your mortgage balance)

IF the debts are in YOUR name only, with your spouse only as an authorized user, and you own your home as joint owners, you MAY be able to file by yourself.

Make sure you get a GOOD BK lawyer, try the NACA.com website,they may also be able to do something about the thieving lying scam artists "debt consolidation" guys.
