i dont know what state your in but in texas, they can get a lien. they cant..CAN NOT...take a house homesteaded. i assume the lien just sits until one wants to sell. i plan to just walk off from mine. let the 2 lienholders fight it out. besides, citi foreclosed on me during BK. they may not can do it..but they will and poor folks cant do squat about it. i do appreciate your legal helping, but im still not sure i trust you. most property is exempt here anyways.
