filed bankruptcy and mortgage lender keeps sending letters

I've posted here before and you guys helped me.This time I'm actually posting for my sister and the following is her situation. She and husband filedB/K 2 years ago.They decided to include their house(personal reasons) and moved out right away.They have continued to get letters monthly from the mortgage company telling them they are behind in their mortgage(duh) or that taxes are due on the property or what are your intention letters,etc. The house still sits as it was left. She and hubby contacted the atty. who handled the B/K but to no avail as the letters keep coming.
Now I'm not as smart as some of you here but it seems to me that not only the mortgage company but the atty. who handled the case could both be in trouble over this. Any input would be appreciated so I can pass along to sis.
