or the city will simply file a tax lien on it and take it back. but...2 years??? i cant see that long happening. they might get sued for the city taxes,,,she needs to follow up NOW and get this fixed. send the city proof it was given back...call the mortage company..as i said we dont always have the proper addresses. to find zales..it took me 2 days and 3 states to find the right address! of course citi has zales..there you go. citi has its head up its......nether regions. really, they need to follow up on this. send the file number only...NOT the papers..CRRR to the companies proper address. (call to find this and keep records of the calls) usually a BK dept, or something like that. its called diff than the reps who answer the 800 numbers. sweetheart, it doesnt make sense. once you stop expecting it too, its much easier to deal with the bozos. :) when papers go the wrong address,,they simply chuck them in the trash. personally, i think it will great fun to walk off from mine and watch them all fight it out when it dawns on them im no longer there. lol.
