Hi, everyone i had my first appearance in court with midland finance today. I denied all knowledge of debt and was given a fraud report to fill out and return back to the attorneys office. is it in my best interest to return this form? They said if i returned the form and they did the investigation then i probably would not have to return to court. By the way i think that they assumed that i would not come to court and they would receive an default judgement because the papers that they gave me were already pre checked saying that it was a default. They had to scratch that out and check a new box for my next court date. please give any help as to the form.
