Mann, I'd be looking for another job if my company ever did anything like that. Creditors can call, if you have applied for credit, and VERIFY your income. Never give them the amount. I can see a CA calling and pretending to be a creditor, and getting employment verified (that you work there) but in my wildest imagination can I see an employer telling anyone what your salary is.
