CA is probably just fishing for information- trying to get you to say something.

They have to sue you. Then they have to request a garnishment request. Then you have the right to appeal. After all that is done, they could try to attach wages.

Anyone who cared to find out could check the courthouse and see if you had any judgments or garnishments against you. I check all the time to see what creditors sue and how far they go to collect.
