I have 2 MBNA accounts that went to W&A. One account went to arbitration and after ignoring W&A they sent the account to a local attorney. After asking for validation from that attorney I recieved a letter from the apologizing for taking so long on getting what I had requested and they were waiting for their client to send them the information. It was not long after receiving that letter that I was served with papers from the county clerks office saying that I am being sued. Now I am trying to figure out the step I need to take next. The other MBNA account is going to arbitration even though I refused arbitration. My husband has 1 MBNA account that went to W&A and arbitration and has been sent to a local attorney (different from the attorney mine went to). We are expecting that he will be served before long. We are considering BK, that is just such a hard decision and a big step.
