IF they sue, the burden of proof is on them to prove the debt and all charges are correct and legal. Send the SOL letter and don't worry about it. There is a lot of psychology in debt collection. CAs lie and threaten, it is the way they do business. IF you are sued, you must answer immediately. Always Ignore CAs, never ignore a law suit. Always verify that a law suit has been filed. If you are sued, an attorney is always your best defense.
