either listen and document any violations or dont answer the phone. limited C and D them to stop any work calls. dont bother explaining to them anything. they dont care on bit. which is why people who dont get intimidated wont pay them!!! DO NOT offer any reasonable payment options. they will smell blood and go for the jugular, while taking any money you send. do not believe a thing said unless YOU HAVE IT IN WRITING. paying them a portion as "settlement" could cause them to sell the remaining balance and you start all over. signing a agreement in writing will restart the SOL on the debt. if they sue..fight it in court and dont let them win a default. good luck. welcome to our world.
