Many years ago, before computers and the internet,when a person was doing a skip trace or other investigation they used a similar stunt. It is human nature to respond in SOME WAY to what seems to be an obviusly stupid slip up. That is why the best spammers get people to respond to what seems like an "error" in sending an e-mail. And why your bank account becomes public knowledge when you deposit the "refund check from nowhere" for $8.35.
