The FTC just recently slammed SCAMCO with a $300,000 fine for EXACTLY that kind of ILLEGAL collection tactics and illegal threats !!

File those complaints with the FTC immediately. In fact, I'd CALL the FTC and tell them EXACTLY what the jerk at SCAMCO said to you. SCAMCO is under court orders and they are ignoring them - the FTC needs to know that.

Also file a complaint with the IL AG's office, also with a full account of what was said to you.
