Call the court clerk's office. They should be able to explain or answer any questions. Ask if you can file for a motion to dismiss. Most courts will allow you to do so, since it could be thrown out before you even get to court, thus saving the courts time. Make sure when you send the letter to send it certified, with backup of when you last paid, if you have it. Just remember, it's the Plaintiff's responsibility to prove their case so only send documentation of what you absolutely have to - don't give the otherside anything to go on. btw - what state are you in?
