Can you please help ? Lost a debt case. Got a judgement against me. Now lawyer for CA has asked me for financial statements, bank accounts, tax returns etc. I am unemployed and have been a stay home mom for the past 4 years. Do I have to bring in my husband's tax returns since he filed jointly. He has a job and I'm worried they will find out his account number (which I am joint holder on). Can they just find out about the tax returns or do I have to give it them. If I refuse (or say I don't have the tax return) can they force my husband to produce it ? Many thanks
