First I like to say I am so glad to see there is a web site where I can get answers without having to deal with an actual attorney. I actually have two questions and I hope someone can help. Can anyone tell me what is the actual SOL in the state of Pennsylvania? I was told 6 years. Is that correct? Also, I just recently received a letter concerning a Repo that on my credit report shows November 2000, but last payment made to the original bank was in September 2000. Since the repo the debt must have been through 4 different companies because the original and there after companies were sold or went out of business. Infact I've lost track because I might have only received 5 letters concerning this debt if that since the repo. Is there any SOL on a repo or what can I do? Right now times are really tough and making payments to them is almost impossible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
