no, they dont care if your breathing your last. ignore them. they can sue, in which case show up and fight, but they wont take your car. im sure using blue book plus depreciation, (or whatever one uses for value in court) it isnt worth it but check on whychats site for the exemptions in your state. in texas, one car per driver is exempt anyways. check your state. they work on fear and abuse tactics. if you are like me and cant handle them, ignore them. nothing you say will make a diff. their job is collect money for their paychecks. nothing else. they will use any and all tactics they can to scare you or abuse you into paying. im really sorry about your accident and i hope you get to feeling better...quit explaining anything to a CA..it does no good. should you think you are too far over your head, consider filing BK if they sue you. hey, a CA actually told the truth!!! they really dont care!!! wow. amazing. lol. good luck hon...hugs*********. tough when we had perfect credit and wham,,its gone,at our age, isnt it? been there. :) you dont have to get anything paid. well, lights and water and gas!
