No, they can't force you to sell your home.

I don't think you are helping yourself by paying this CA, you have nothng in writing, it was a default judgment, you have no way of enforcing any oral "agreement" to discharge the lien.

You are throwing $$ down a rathole without any proveable possible benefit.

You say you have a copy of the filed lien, with a book and page #? You obtained this from the Court?

You really should speak to a lawyer, I think you are being conned.
