A lien is just a lien- it is NOT enforceable to actually collect any $$ unless they start foreclosure proceedings.

You can file an exemption statement with the Court relating to your bank account consisting ONLY of exempt income.

The collection agency "lawyer" is not intereted in doing what is right, or even what is legal, or he wants to do is get as much $$ out of you as is possible. It will do you NO GOOD to know what is "allowed" by law if you are dealing with thieving scum.

GET A LAWYER!!!
