The best thing to do to save your sanity is to NOT talk to them on the phone. Keyser told you what you need to do, send a C&D and tell them they are to contact you by MAIL ONLY.

They always want 'check by phone' so they can get your banking info - and its just as likely they'll drain your account dry when/if they get it.

Sounds like this pea-brain may be racking up some FDCPA violations too, so record all calls from these dog turds - the ammo may come in handy for a lawsuit.
