This is for accounts passed SOL, but there is also a lot of good info for accounts that are not passed SOL.
When was the last time you paid the original creditor before the account became deliquent and what state are you in? Are you absolutely sure that this account is not SOL. CAs buy accounts with very little supporting info. Remember this much, they have the burden of proof. They must prove to the court that they have the legal right to collect on the debt, that all charges are correct and legal on the debt. Forget the credit repair service. They are worthless. Can not do anything that you can not do yourself.
