leslie TRUST ME i went thru what your going thru a couple yrs ago & it was tough to find .. im in NEVADA where our SOL on open accounts is 4 yrs but our SOL on written is 6 YRS so the collectors even though THEY know the law on credit cards is the 4 yrs here they TRY to BS in saying its the longer written becouse of course it benefits them the extra 2 yrs by lying .. i looked lots & found in NEVADA its of course the OPEN as in every state & in our state its under nevada revised statues chapter 97a / N.R.S 97a.050 AND N.R.S 97a.060 .. honestly i dont know about florida law were it would state that but ALL states are considered OPEN and when push comes to shove ALL the scam collectors know credit cards are OPEN not written .. i know you need florida statues so goodluck , bue kelly ........
