well dean i wish you luck with those#$@#$%^^^^&&&%$, words i cant say on this forum. personal experience with these people and their attys. has showed me that they do it all, and seem to get away with it over and over. i am also dealing with them right now, and this time i know more,and i will fight them to the bitter end, and sue them for every lie they tell: they re-age debts on cr, they put unable to locate customer on cr, they dont contact you before filing, they jack up the debt to double or more the original amt., and etc, etc., and they have no legal proof of the debt, just some puter print out from when they bought it for just about nothing! and some addavidt signed by one of their managers, and i could go on. i learned on thing they are not interested in truly settling any debt, they just want to go to court in most cases , i believe(just my own opinion) , because they are counting on us the people and the judges not knowing what our rights or the laws are!! i think in my state
they are cleaning up!
I have to say that i believe most people are like me, went through a bad time and always wanted to pay their debts, but once you get behind and the late fees and over limit charges mount, and then the ca's come into the picture, many of them wont really work with you, and take what you can pay, they DEMAND what you cant pay!!, so then eventually the debt ends up in the hands of co's like these guys, SAD! i think it is high time this country makes some Real rules about this to protect the consumer, and stop these bad debt buyers from raking us over the coals!!! hey, someone tell me what is really the purpose of the sol, if they can still reinsert these debts and reage them into your cr.and still file suits and even win, most of the time, if there is a statute of limitations shouldnt it, then be the end of it, or does the nightmare have to go on Forever!! do a search on aaccep. for financial , they are laughing all the way to the bank. good luck to you.
