Thanks Catballou, and boy your arent kidding when you say CA's can be extremely abusive. My fiance got into it on the phone with one from Cap1 one day. It was incredible. At first, I didnt like him doing it, as was worried what they would do to me if he was nasty, now I dont care.

And yes I kind of figured to offer less money than what the CA was telling me was a settlement offer because I figure the CA wants their share. NOT.

I am trying to get all my info together so I can make a decision. I mean I will have the money to make an offer, but I take it unless they remove the charge off and place as paid in full, there is no sense in paying, right?
