Capitol One (something doesn't seem right)

Today I received something in the mail from Stillman Law Office who is representing Capitol One. It's a notice of a "Summary Disposition hearing" for later on this month.

Apparently this is some sort of mini-trial is what I was told by the clerk of courts office. In this packet of papers there is also the "plantiff's motion for summary dispostion" which pretty much states that I don't have a good enough reason to support my claim and therefore I shouldn't get a trial. They also put in there a "order for summary disposition and judgement". There is no judgement against me but for some reason they inserted this in the papers. Was this to scare me? I'm sure that it was! There is also "Brief in support of the motion" which has background and then there is an an "affidavit in support of the motion" but the blanks are empty except for the amount that they say that I owe.

I called the court house and they don't have any papers yet is what I was told. If that's the case, how can I have a hearing date? Wouldn't the clerk of courts office know when I have a court date scheduled?

There was also a proof of service! And it states that this was put in the mail of MaY 25, 2004 and I'm just getting it on June 7, 2004? So this was put in the mail and everything before we even had the Pre-trial on June 3?

So here are my questions?

Can I get it so that we have a trial and not a summary dispostion?

How do I respond to what I just received?

When do I get to say something? Like I want them to show me the signature on this agreement? and I want them to show me where I charged on this card? How do I get to say that I want to see things things?

Just in case, I live in Michigan.
