Okay, not being to knowledgeable in the whole credit card situation, I tried to make good and pay a creditor a check by phone. They said I could call back and change if I had to. I did and now they won't undo the check by phone after they said they would. After much difficulty, got ahold of a manager who said they would cancel the check. When I called back again, it appeared that way but how do I know that's what they did? They said the original creditor will sue and I will have to pay court fees etc. Is this the case?
