Read this, including all links. This is for an account past SOL, but if you read it all, there is info how to file an answer. Sorry, should have included this in my first post. You have 30 days to appeal after they get a judgement, so I would say you have 30 days to protect your banking info. HERE'S THE THING. If they get a judgement, you might be judgement proof right now. But, in the years to come, your circumstances will change. They will pounce on you just when you least expect it,and once they get a judgement they can still continue to add interest. So, you really need to do everything possible to avoid getting a judgement. And, I just told you how to do it. A little later in the day, you will get more opinions.
