call the court and ask or go down there. never let them get a default against you. good luck! whychats site has a link on "how to answer a lawsuit"...check it out and follow it. ask questions at the courthouse..they usually are very helpful. check out your states SOL and how old the debt is. check out what proof you can ask for...many things you can use to fight it.
