I love your help boadicea. This isnt SOL as last payment was in Dec 2002. At the end of the summons they included a horrible photocopy of my contract with B of A. ( includes the old Im liable for any court fees etc )
Alright so I go , I appear ( I have already printed out the forms off the cook county site). I believe I need to make sure the Plaintiffs get a copy of this tomorrow is that correct? I then go back in ten days to file an answer. At that time a trial date will be set?
Hopefully they will see Im not gonna rollover and be more prone to settle before I even get to the trial. What would you guess is a reasonable amount I should look to settle for if my outstanding balance is 7600?
I know I sound novice , its cause I am! Thanks.
