Said agreement and account was sold, transferred, and set over unto Sherman......, with full power and authority to do and perform all acts necessary for the collection, settlement, adjustment, compromise, or satisfaction of the said claim. Further, Affiant states that to the best of Affiant's knowledge, informatioin, and belief, there were no uncredited payments, just counterclaims, or offsets against the said debt when sold. Further, the Affiant acknowledges that in making this Affidavit, that Sherman ......(current holder) is now the owner of said account, and that Sherman..... (current holder) has complete authority to settle , adjust, and satisfy the same and that Bank of America (assignor/card issuer) has no further interest in said debt for any purpose.

Can someone dicipher what that means for me please. It sounds good!
