I received another letter today form bennett and deloney claiming they dont have to wait the 30 day dispute rule to sue but if i dispute within the 30 days all litigation will stop until they send proof of debt to me...this is the same place that sent me a letter the day before saying "their client" Chase Manhattan has agreed to a settlement offer...well I called chase and they said they sold the account to CollectAmerica in 01' and they are not a client of this bennet and deloney firm (CA)..is this considered misrepresentation? Also I see a lot of posts telling people to dispute and request proof while in court..should I dispute to the CA before the 30 day rule is up???? ALso this law firm is not licensed to practice law in nevada (closed state), but are threatening to sue me, is this legal?? sorry if I ask some of the same questions as a few days ago but I lost those posts....BD
